Last week, Gareth Davies MP visited the Grantham Children's Centre on Swingbridge Road to see the support that is provided to parents. The Children's Centre offers a wide range of sessions for 0 to 5 year olds from Monday to Friday, and during school holidays older siblings up to eight years old are welcome.
Gareth commented: "I am extremely grateful to the team at the Grantham Children's centre who showed me around the fantastic facilities available to new parents. From the developmental check in sessions and top tips group's, to advice on health & safety, weaning and learning through play - new parents can learn lots while building important support and friendship groups in the local community."
The Children's Centre's are located across all three towns with an outreach centre also in South Witham, they are free of charge and everyone is welcome to access the support on offer. There is also a baby and child clothes exchange where parents can drop off clothes, they will be cleaned and then parents can chose clothes for their child.
