This afternoon Gareth Davies MP spoken in the House of Commons Chamber to denounce the use of rape as a weapon of war. The Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict (PSVI) initiative was launched in 2012 by William Hague, the then Foreign Secretary to tackle the serious crimes of rape and sexual violence in war. Gareth today joined calls for a new international body to be established to oversee the collection of evidence so as to increase prosecutions across the world.
