Last week, Gareth Davies MP visited Elsea Park in Bourne last week to view the newly-installed Artificial Grass Pitch.
Gareth toured the £1.4 million development with Jono Brough, chairman of the Elsea Park Community Trust, and district and county councillor Robert Reid. The venue is set to open on Monday, March 29th once organised sport is permitted to resume under the government’s COVID roadmap.
Following the visit, Gareth extended his thanks to everyone who has worked create the facility:
“ I am delighted that the pitch is now ready for use by everyone living in Bourne and the surrounding area. The perseverance of the Elsea Park Community Trust has paid off and they should rightly be proud that Bourne can now boast this first-class facility.
I look forward to following the sporting successes of Bourne Town FC and Thurlby Tigers in the future!”
