Matt Hancock, the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care has today sent a video message of thanks to everyone involved in the vaccination roll out here in Grantham and Stamford constituency.
In the video message he said:
"I want to say a massive thank you to everyone in Grantham, Stamford and Bourne, for the enormous amount of effort that's gone into the vaccination programme. So far, two in every five people have been vaccinated, and that is so important because it helps to protect you, your community, and help us all get out of this pandemic."
Commenting on the video message, Gareth Davies MP said:
"It is wonderful to receive this message of thanks and support for all of our local NHS staff, our volunteers, the Council and everyone who has received the vaccination here in Grantham, Stamford and Bourne. The roll out of the vaccine has been very strong here in our county and I want to add my thanks to the Health Secretary's for the ongoing work to battle this virus.
