Whether it is new funding for improved road links, or better broadband, we must ensure our communities are as connected and productive as possible. I will always work to make sure our town and its people have strong and reliable infrastructure.
In the last Parliament, I helped secure:
- £4.3 million to upgrade the A1 between Grantham and Stamford, among the most per-mile in the region.
- £9.8 million for road resurfacing and highway maintenance across the local area.
- Improved digital connectivity, including rural areas, with gigabit access rising from just 3% in 2019 to over 82% today.
Where there are significant announcements in sectors such as transport, broadband, and utilities, I continue to stand up for our fair share of Government infrastructure investment.
