Gareth Davies MP dropped into Grantham Library this afternoon to meet the team and learn more about their excellent Summer Reading Challenge for local children aged 4-11.
The Library and Heritage Client Lead at Lincolnshire County Council, Louise Egan, and Grantham Library Lead, Paul Mason, showed Gareth around the fantastic facilities at the library.
While the library’s primary function remains a place where all can borrow books, from popular fiction to some of our most important local documents, Grantham Library acts as a hub of local knowledge and learning.
With regular discussion and activity groups and even IT support sessions, the library provides a unique space for local people, especially young people revising and those working remotely.
Gareth was joined on his visit by the Leader of Lincolnshire County Council, Cllr Martin Hill OBE, the District Councillor for Grantham St Wulfram’s, Cllr Ray Wootten, and the County Councillor for Grantham East, Cllr Linda Wootten.
