Gareth Davies MP has strongly welcomed the start of Great British Nuclear as a central part of the Government’s plans for a rapid expansion of British nuclear power.
Conservative governments have been pioneers of nuclear power since the government led by Sir Winston Churchill built the world’s first nuclear power station in 1953.
Great British Nuclear will create jobs, grow our economy, and mean Britain’s future energy supply is better for our environment, cheaper for families and businesses, and more secure against energy warfare.
