Gareth Davies MP has today written to the Chief Executive of Anglian Water, Peter Simpson, after the company issued a ‘Boil Notice’ to its customers in a number of areas, including Castle Bytham, Little Bytham, Toft, Witham on the Hill, Carlby, Corby Glen, and Grimsthorpe.
In his urgent letter, Gareth sought a response to a number of key questions and concerns shared by local residents, from the nature of the issue and the remedial steps Anglian Water are taking, to how the company are communicating with their customers and working with public services such as school and GP services to allow them to stay open.
UPDATE - 18th July:
The ‘Boil Notice’ has now been removed and Anglian Water have confirmed that local residents who have been impacted by the ‘Boil Notice’ can return to using their water supply as usual.
