Westgate Hall in Grantham is one of the most historic buildings in this part of our town, it has recently been awarded funding from South Kesteven District Council and Historic England.
On his visit to Westgate Hall, Gareth commented, "Grantham town centre is home to some wonderfully historic and beautiful buildings. One of the most prominent is the magnificent Westgate Hall which dates back to 1852 and has an imposing presence that provides so much potential.
I was delighted to look around it with the owner and representatives of Historic England and South Kesteven District Council to learn more about the over £300,000 grant being provided as part of the Grantham high street action zone programme. This partnership will help bring the building back to its former glory and attract more and more people into town. I look forward to watching the work progress!".
