This morning Gareth appeared on Sky News to highlight the benefits of the Government's recent cut to National Insurance contributions, which will start appearing in people's pay packets from today.
Speaking in his capacity as Exchequer Secretary, Gareth explained that the average earner will see a £450 boost to their take-home pay this year, and that the Government's intention is to continue cutting taxes by sticking to the plan of reducing inflation and managing the public finances responsibly.
