Gareth Davies MP warmly welcomes the Government’s new national recruitment campaign for childcare workers which will support nurseries and early years providers with the staff they need as increased free childcare begins in April.
The latest data shows that over 100,000 children over the age of 2 have been registered on the system for 15 hours of free childcare a week, which reflects the strength of demand across the country and it is important that we increase staff capacity to meet this demand.
The recruitment campaign offers a £1,000 sign-on cash payment for new recruits who join the early years sector which will ensure that nurseries and early year providers are ready to deliver for working parents and their children.
