Gareth Davies MP visited the new outdoor gym in Stamford accompanied by local District Councillor Gloria Johnson.
The outdoor gym cost £40,000 and was fundraised by local volunteers through the Frank Newbon Community Projects Community Interest Company which then applied for grant funding as well as fundraising, with grant support from South Kesteven District Council.
Gareth commented "it was a pleasure to join Cllr Gloria Johnson recently at the new outdoor gym at the Stamford Recreation Ground, something she and a number of local people worked very hard to make happen.
The gym equipment, which cost more than £40,000, was funded by donations, collections and grants - providing people with a fantastic space to exercise in the fresh air!"
