Gareth Davies MP joined students last week at Stamford Endowed Schools to take questions on a range of topics, including his route into politics, his work as a Member of Parliament, and current affairs.
After visiting Parliament back in November, one of the students decided to set up a new student society focused on economics and politics. Along with other students, the society founder, Henry, decided to name the society the Locke & Keynes Society, after the ‘father of liberalism’ John Locke and the economist John Maynard Keynes.
Gareth said:
“It is always a pleasure to visit our excellent local schools and take questions directly from students about my work representing them and their families in Parliament.
It was wonderful to see so many young people with a great interest in how our democracy functions and sharing their opinions on the biggest questions facing our country.”
