Today, Gareth Davies MP had the privilege to take part in the Industry and Parliamentary Trust’s Poppy Ride, which raises funds and awareness for the Royal British Legion and Poppy Scotland’s Poppy Appeal.
The annual event, co-hosted with the Royal British Legion, sees MPs and Peers invited to cycle as far as they can in 5 minutes on an exercise bike.
The Royal British Legion was formed in the aftermath of the Great War to fight for the rights of those who had given so much and come back to so little. Today, the RBL continues to stand with the Armed Forces community to ensure all those who have served and sacrificed on our behalf get the fair treatment and recognition they deserve.
