Today the Stamford Community Orchard Group is holding their Apple fair and Gareth Davies attended with his mother to view the various stalls and meet with local volunteers at the Stamford Art's Centre. The group aim to preserve the old orchards that still exist in the town and establish new orchards. There are over 40 varieties of Stamford grown apples and while Gareth didn’t try all of them today it was his pleasure to support this great community event!
