Gareth Davies MP has spoken out against the Government's decision to remove funding from Combined Cadet Force units in schools across the country, including those in Lincolnshire.
Gareth said:
"From learning life skills and gaining new experiences to providing a clear, but always optional route to becoming part of our Armed Forces, joining the Combined Cadet Force (CCF) at school is a unique experience that so many young people in our area benefit from.
I am very disappointed by the Government’s decision to remove funding for CCF units, which irresponsibly risks the future of cadet forces at state schools throughout Grantham and Bourne.
I want as many local children as possible to be able to join a CCF unit and I will continue to push for this funding to be reinstated."
