Today, Gareth spoke in a Westminster Hall debate on pension advice, highlighting Britain’s global leadership in the pensions industry, but the need to increase engagement with personal finances.
Gareth highlighted the success of automatic pension enrolment in increasing this engagement, but agreed with others on the need for further improvements in this area.
To that end, Gareth suggested that such improvements could lie in new technology making pensions more accessible, and a change in job advertising culture to place greater emphasis on what pension was on offer.
