Gareth Davies MP today raised the shocking incident that occurred yesterday in Grantham where a police officer was struck and injured while speaking to a suspect, in the House of Commons. He asked the Leader of the House to join him in sending his best wishes to the injured officer and called for a debate on how best to keep our officers safe in the line of duty.
