Gareth Davies MP this morning joined Cllr Helen Crawford and residents from Dyke and the surrounding area for the annual Dyke Scarecrow Festival in which organisers were blown away by the creativity of those who took part.
This year, the festival attracted 24 entries with designs ranging from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to a western ranch and, the overall winner, a Mother Nature scarecrow by Tina Lovesey.

“I really enjoyed joining the Dyke Scarecrow Festival this morning. The competition has been going a long time and brings together the whole village to raise funds for the local community. A wonderful event, brilliantly organised by local volunteers!”
