Gareth Davies MP today headed out on patrol with Lincolnshire Police’s dedicated Wildlife Crime Officer, DC Flint, to learn more about the impact of wildlife and wider rural crime on our area and across the country.
Established in December 2021, Rural Crime Action Team is leading the fight against criminals who seek to commit crimes against local farmers and those who live in local villages.
While barbaric hare coursing is of particular concern to farmers and landowners across our corner of Lincolnshire, Gareth and DC Flint also discussed other wildlife crimes including badger batting and the poisoning of birds of prey, and other rural crimes such as machinery and vehicle theft.
