Gareth Davies MP has today celebrated the announcement of over £91 million for local primary and secondary schools for the year 2024-25.
Overall, schools in England are set to receive their highest ever funding in real terms through the National Funding Formula (NFF). Alongside record funding, since 2010, under this Government 88% of schools are rated ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ (up from just 68%), our primary school children have become the best readers in the Western world, and there are 27,000 more teachers in our schools.
Gareth said:
“More investment means that local children will continue to enjoy and benefit from a fantastic education, so I am delighted that our schools are set to benefit from their share of the record national funding.”
