We all want to feel safe in our homes and on the streets. I fully support Lincolnshire Police to crack down hard on criminals who seek to do us harm. I am proud to have voted through tough new laws and sentences for violent crime, disruptive protests, and illegal immigration.
In the last Parliament, I helped secure:
- 189 additional police officers for Lincolnshire Police as part of a national uplift.
- Dedicated rural policing through a new Rural Crime Action Team.
- £900,000 Safer Streets funding to combat anti-social behaviour and additional funding for CCTV upgrades.
- A reduction of crime by 15% in Grantham and 16% in Bourne.
Public safety is one of my key priorities for our community and I back Lincolnshire Police to make our streets safer and to protect our people. That means more police, better equipment, and tougher laws.
