Campaign for strong local healthcare

We all want reliable access to a GP, dental services, and our hospital. From day one I have held local NHS authorities to account to deliver excellent local services, while supporting national reforms to improve the quality of service, forever free at the point of need.

In the last Parliament I helped secure:

  • Grantham Hospital was back open 24/7 for emergency care.
  • Hospital expansion through a new surgical hub, increasing operating capacity by 50%
  • Lincolnshire’s first Community Diagnostic Centre in Grantham, with a further £5 million invested in new CT and MRI scanners to deliver tens of thousands of tests.
  • Outstanding local GP practices, with over 85% scoring above national average on the GP Patient Survey.

My work to ensure we have strong local NHS services never stops.
